On the 25th of April we had the pleasure of representing Norwood at the dawn service which was hosted by the Ringwood RSL and held at the Memorial Clock Tower from 5.30am. The Year 12 Leadership team, Mr Sheehan, Ms Watson, Mr Duncan, and Year 12 family members attended the service.
Each speaker emphasised the importance of incorporating the ANZAC values of mateship, courage, and sacrifice in our individual lives, and they highlighted the heroism of the ANZAC servicemen and women. The school captains and vice captains laid a wreath on behalf of the school, in commemoration of those who have served. We are all very grateful for this opportunity to honour the men and women who sacrificed so much for the freedom of our nation.
