Lions Youth of the Year Award Zone Final
It is with great pride that I announce that Caitlin Weatherburn won the Zone Final for the Lions Youth of the Year. Caitlin was impressive at this event, and it was clear how much effort she had invested in improving her prepared speech that she delivered with poise and confidence. Not only did she win the Zone Youth of the Year, but she also won Best Speaker on the day.
Caitlin now progresses to the Regional Final this Saturday night, one step away from the State Final. As a College, we are immensely proud of her achievements, managing to juggle this commitment with a heavy Year 12 study load. We wish her well in the next round of this prestigious competition.
