Resource Centre

The Norwood Resource Centre offers a vibrant safe, welcoming environment with areas for reading, research and study.

Catalogue

The library catalogue allows students to identify a wide range of resources in various formats (text, audio, and eBook) to support their studies and other interests. A constantly updated selection of excellent fiction and non-fiction resources are available, including a range of magazines and games for recreational use during recess and lunch.

Research

Within the library, students have access to the schools’ wireless network for research purposes. Some library services such as ‘ClickView’, a website which provides access to over 3000 videos that support Norwood’s curriculum are accessible from home.
The Resource Centre website contains research information specific to individual courses at Norwood. In addition, our extensive online resources, made available through the Wheelers ePlatform, gives students access to fiction and non-fiction eBooks and audiobooks. These resources can also be tailored to individual learning needs and reading styles.
Our qualified librarian provides skills and expertise that can be utilised by students, allowing them to develop skills which enable them to carry out research independently and effectively.

Hours

The Resource Centre is open from 8.15am until 4.00pm, Monday to Friday, including recess and lunchtime.
